This week starts off a week of first birthdays. On Wednesday, Sam’s playmate and classmate, Lily, daughter of our good friends Sara and Erin, turns one on Wednesday. So today, we get to go to her birthday party! It’ll be Sam’s first birthday party, and the stars must have aligned just right, because baseball schedules are cooperating and all 5 of us will get to go! Then, next Sunday Sam’s friend, Austin, son of our good friends Tori and Travis, turns one. Then the following Wednesday (April 27!), Sammo turns the big one. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
All the babies are very different, like their mommies and daddies, and yet they’re the same, too (just like their mommies and daddies). They’re all walking, talking to some degree (I think Sam is talking the least, Lily probably the most), they’re all the darlings of their parents hearts (just like their siblings, in Sam and Austin’s cases). Lily has enough hair for pigtails, Austin is about ready for his second haircut (his mommy claims he’s got a baby mullet going on), while Sam still has wispy, flyaway hair that Mommy LOVES to make stick up all over.<\/p>\n
I can’t believe that’s it’s already been a year. Time has flown by, and it’s been one of the most challenging, most fun, and most amazing years EVER. \ud83d\ude42 Lily, we can’t wait to celebrate with you today, Austin, we’ll be there in spirit with you next week, and Sammo, we can’t wait to party down with you Saturday after next! We love you to pieces and can’t wait to watch you grow more and more. I know Lily’s and Austin’s mommies and daddies feel the same way!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
