Jacob and Bryan have basketball practice, so I get some good one-on-one (one-on-two?) time with Caleb and Sam.<\/p>\n<p>Last night was no different. As the three of us headed up to Chick-Fil-A to grab an oh-so-nutritious dinner (don&#8217;t judge, we&#8217;ve all done it), Caleb was telling me about how some of the kids in his class were late because their bus broke down on the way to school.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Me: Well, aren&#8217;t you glad you don&#8217;t have to ride the bus? Aren&#8217;t you lucky that between Mom and Dad and Ike and me, someone can take you to school?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">C: Yes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Me: You know, when I was in school, I had to ride the bus everyday, because Grandma Ann and Grandpa Reggie had to be at work before I went to school. You know, back a hundred years ago when I was in school.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">C: [momentary silence, then, with a grin] You&#8217;re exaaaaaaagerating, Julie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Me: [giggling] well, maybe a liiiiiiitle bit.<\/p>\n<p>Then, as we waited for our food, Caleb told me about what he learned in music class that day. A Pirate song! And he sang it for Sam and me, to much adoration!
