And now we can add small sentences to the list! They&#8217;re not truly &#8220;complete&#8221; sentences or grammatically correct (hey, remember, I was an English major), but they usually have a subject &#8211; often &#8220;Sammy&#8221; &#8211; and a verb.<\/p>\n<p>So, here&#8217;s a quick list of some of my recent faves\u00a0(spelling and spacing are intentional &#8211; trying to convey how it sounds coming from him):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Right dere!<\/li>\n<li>Da&#8217;s Mommy! (or Daddy, or Bubba, or Bear)<\/li>\n<li>Say-say doggie<\/li>\n<li>Say-say goodgirl<\/li>\n<li>Bubba\/Bear\/Sammy\/Hunter pay baseball!<\/li>\n<li>Mommy\/Daddy ATwork<\/li>\n<li>I love you!<\/li>\n<li>Bess you<\/li>\n<li>More singing<\/li>\n<li>No singing, Daddy<\/li>\n<li>See Bubba\/Bear pay baseball\/bas-eh-ball<\/li>\n<li>Go Pad-es! (that would be the Padres, Caleb&#8217;s baseball team)<\/li>\n<li>Sammy\/Bubba\/Bear\/Daddy\/Mommy chair<\/li>\n<li>Sit, Mommylap<\/li>\n<li>Daddy mowing<\/li>\n<li>Sammy\/Mommy\/Daddy wunning<\/li>\n<li>See. LilyDuffey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are lots more but I&#8217;ll spare you from having to read his ENTIRE vocabulary. \ud83d\ude42 And, in case the list didn&#8217;t make it clear, he has also begun to refer to himself as Sammy, and this weekend even called himself Sammy Daneman (and yes, Daneman is a mouthful for him)!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a while since I wrote about all the words Sam is saying.
