Fourth of July

Published by at 11:03 pm under Daneman Boys,Family Time

I know it’s late, but I thought y’all would enjoy some pictures from Sam’s school Fourth of July parade and class party. The kids were all very cute, and very happy to have their parents visiting their classes. And it was very neat to get to see a slice of their daily lives at school. The big boys came with us to the party and they were a big hit. Caleb got down on the floor to play with the babies, and the kids loved playing with him.

First, the video of the parade (well, Sam’s class in the parade). Ms. Leslie is pushing the monster stroller, and Ms. Denise is walking with Jeffry and Lily:

Now, some stills of the class party:

Sam sits in his seat at the table, waiting patiently (sort of) for lunch.

Cute-as-can-be Lily also waits for lunch. She sits across the table from Sam.

My first attempt at a collage in Picasa – Sam models his Fourth of July crafts from school:

I’d offer more Fourth of July stories, but we had a very low-key Fourth of July weekend. We didn’t watch fireworks, but we did enjoy some great relaxation time with our little family and some good friends. Since this post is media-heavy already, I’ll save some of the pool pictures and videos for another time. I hope everyone had a happy and safe Fourth of July. And even though it’s late, Happy Birthday, America. I’m proud to call you home.
