Snips and Snails and Puppydog Tails

Sam is very into labeling lately, and not just straight labeling of objects or people, but also possessive labels: Mommy’s seat, Daddy’s coffee, Bear’s baseball, Bubba’s basketball.  (in your head, you should hear those in his little squeaky voice and the words sound more like teat, toffee, beeeessball, bas-eh-ball).

But his latest label is one of the cutest so far, I think. He has started calling his friend Lily’s Mommy, LilySara. And he gets excited when he sees her (or other ladies with curly, brown hair that he thinks are her). Now, his other classmates’ parents are “Logan Daddy,” “BellaGrace Mommy,” etc. Lily’s Mommy is the only one with a special name. Clearly he’s a genius child and knows how special LilySara is. We think she’s pretty special, too.
